Our values

LESER has grown to its current size and importance over the course of its long and distinguished history. Founded in Lahr in 1937, Leser GmbH is now a leading company in the market for high-quality packaging. The fourth generation is now focusing its knowledge and skills on the company as its life's work, with the aim of maintaining and continuously developing the level of performance achieved. In order to consolidate and further expand the market position achieved in domestic and foreign markets and to open up new business areas, corresponding earning power is necessary.

This is a prerequisite for securing investments in employees and technology, maintaining jobs for employees and preserving independence as a family-owned company. In a constantly changing environment, we face new challenges with great commitment. Our strength is our flexibility, which helps us to integrate technical and social change into our work processes. Aware that a successful future as an outstanding company can only be secured on the basis of a shared corporate culture, we set out our values and goals below.

CUSTOMERS

Ultimately, our business success is based solely on our relationship with our customers; that is why we strive to build long-lasting and reliable partnerships with them. For us, customer focus means fulfilling their ideas, needs and expectations to their satisfaction and ours. Our decades of experience, our knowledge of the special requirements of packaging and our expertise are the prerequisites for this. Our goal is to gain and maintain our customers' trust in our products, our organisation and our enthusiasm.

EMPLOYEES

Communication, information, motivation and qualification are the principles that guide our interactions with one another. They create a working atmosphere in which values such as openness, trust, honesty, reliability and acceptance are lived out. New employees are carefully introduced to the company and assigned to positions that match their skills and performance. Discussions with supervisors to address professional or personal issues and seek solutions are possible at any time.

ENVIRONMENT

We see our company as part of an environment in which the environment enjoys a high level of protection. We want to use ideas and concepts to implement environmentally friendly processes that are technically and economically feasible. The economical use of resources and the recycling of unavoidable waste are a matter of course for us. We are aware of our responsibility towards future generations and act accordingly.

CERTIFICATIONS

In 1998, Leser GmbH was the first company in the industry worldwide to be certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

Quality is evident in the details

Quality is evident in the details

We have coined this guiding principle and we live by it. By focusing on our core business, team-oriented product development and the use of modern technology, we have achieved a leading position in our markets. Quality depends directly on the ideas and expectations of our customers. The benchmark for the quality of our products is set by the customer. It is crucial that the quality of our work is assured from the outset. Any error made at an early stage can only be rectified later at a much higher cost and with a great deal more effort. That is why mechanisms must be put in place within the organisation to support the independent assurance of work quality from the outset.

This means ensuring the quality of sales, purchasing and production in the work process. Errors must be avoided and, if they do occur, corrected immediately. We consider the assurance and continuous improvement of quality to be the responsibility of all employees. Quality is therefore no longer the sole responsibility of one department; every employee in the company is responsible for quality.
